T-Shirts for Everyone!!!

Hey guys, I decided to complete what I started when I put up all those pictures of cool things from thinkgeek.com. This time I went to bustedtees.com and picked out a t-shirt for everybody (well, almost everybody, some people I missed, if I missed you let me know and I'll get you one). In order to not go crazy, i didn't include thinkgeek or any of the other good t-shirt companies in this search, that would be tooo many. Some of these are perfect. Some aren't. Please don't be offended by yours, it's all in good fun!

We'll start with the Gentlemen:

Sam (because he's definitely a superhero. Have you seen him shirtless?!?)

Jon (our lovable RA):

JT:

and

Me:

Brennan:

Pheep:

Kevin (irony?):

or you could always go for the obvious

Carlo:

Will (even though he would never say sorry):

Alex (dominating at iPhone scrabble since 2009):

also he likes to sleep.

seriously

Hollaback:

Not that I feel qualified to pick one for Drew, but I kinda think he'd like this one:
Drew:

Tom:

Justin (the most BAMF jew on this floor):

Quin:

Anish:

Fishman

Richard

Derek

JJ

and

Anthony (Beethoven would have eaten the muffin)

And... on to the ladies!

Mary (have you seen her room?)

Andrea:
I don't know Andrea's true allegiances, but is anybody really on team Leno?

Sonal:

And Sonia

Avril:

or... since you were so adamant about not having a lost one (even though this one is subtle and pretentious and only true lost fans would get it)

(oh snap, Never Again)

Christina

Malia

Laila:

Regina:

Sandra:

Michelle (Preeeeee-Med!):

Tif (sneaky asian):

Tandra:

or

Melody (I have no idea why, this just felt like Melody to me...)

JJ's Game Show Challenge

I'm trying something new here, so bear with me.

Since next year I don't think I'll exactly be able to post a whiteboard question for you to answer, I thought of this.

Each week, I'll post a challenge--a few questions/puzzles/scenarios from game shows or whatnot--and have you post your answers in the comments. When a new challenge rolls around, I'll reveal the answers to last week's challenge. Think of it as your newspaper's crossword puzzles, only in weekly form.

With that said, here comes the first one (BTW, different games are color-coded so no one gets confused):

Wheel of Fortune Bonus Round:

_ I _ N T
_ _ N D _

LIVING THING
RSTLN E D C M I

_ _ N N _
_ _ I T E

PROPER NAME
RSTLN E C P M I

Family Feud (try to guess as many answers on this survey as possible):

Name an ingredient used to make beer. (top 5 answers)

A leprechaun is one mythical creature. Name another. (top 6 answers)

Final Jeopardy!:

BEATLES SONGS

The name of this Beatles song is a Yoruba phrase that means "life goes on"

STATE CAPITALS

Alphabetically, they're the first two state capitals named for Presidents

Good luck! Post your answers in the comments and we'll have the answers next week.

The blog is not dead

Hey everybody, I'm sorry the blog is in the sad state that it' s currently in. I promised that I would not be the blog nazi anymore (which, by the way, was just me reminding people to write their blogs and then again at like midnight to make sure they did it). I'm gonna stick to my promise because the blog was making people angrier than it was worth.

I will still post once a week (though on a random day), and I know JJ has committed to once a week, but I can't speak for anybody else.

I will say this though. If you were/are a regular reader of the blog, help out by writing your own posts! Go for it! It's an open blog and we'd love to see some fresh perspectives! On the other hand, you yourselves could take on the task of reminding the other ex-bloggers to post once a week! If you log in and see that it hasn't been updated yet, make the update with the time you would have spent reading it! And ex-bloggers, please still consider writing posts every so often. The blog was nice to have.

We are BK4! We can do this! We can't rub having a blog in other people's faces if we don't really have one!

Fuckin' Fuck shit Fuck

Fuckin' Fuck shit Fuck

I have an essay that desperately needs typing, as it is due in a mere few hours. But there are more important matters at hand.

The BK4 Blog is where I turn to for distraction. I have checked this mufucker over the past four days only to be disappointed by zero new posts. Not even a shitty one like this. Don't call me a blazi (blog nazi is too long now), but this is just getting scary/sad/embarrassing/terrifying. Somebody post something 'fore I go bK4nanas.

Urgently yours,
The FishMonger

Missed it by *that* much...

(Today's blog entry is brought to you live from the basement of Leavey Library. Curse my inability to focus over this entire weekend...)

If memory serves me right (and I do believe it does), since the opening of the BK4 Blog, four months have passed.

During these past four months, members of BK4 have pooled together their thoughts, experiences, pictures, and videos in a number of entries. And recently--in fact, just this morning, the number of blog posts finally reached 100.

Now, in this fourth month, Chairman Steve has come to a decision: that he will no longer enforce daily postings from the Defenders of the Floor.

This saddens me, as I am one of the newest Floor Defenders--the Chairman was gracious enough to grant me a position in his stable of bloggers just several weeks ago, and I do believe I am one of the few left that still has a perfect record with daily blogs. (Of course, saying I have a perfect record is like saying Honorary Iron Chef French Yutaka Ishinabe has the best winning percentage in Kitchen Stadium. Compare that to Honorary Iron Chef Japanese Rokusaburo Michiba, who fought 37 battles and only lost 5. Ishinabe only lost one...out of 8.)

This is not to say, however, that the blog shall die after we leave. I shall continue posting, although now that it is no longer enforced I may post on another day. And even after the end of the year, I will find my way to preserve this scrapbook of floor memories, or at least keep in continual activity...perhaps my whiteboard questions will eventually find their way here.

Now, BK4! Embrace these last few weeks of the year with all the energy you have left and never forget what we have established here!

100TH POST

AW YEAHHH 100TH POST SUCKAS!

I WIN. That's right, missing my post last week wasn't just forgetfulness, it was a DEVIOUS PLAN to get the 100th post this week! Yeah, let's go with that.

But anyway, I have now officially ended the reign of Fuhrer Steve! Steve, although you ruled with an iron fist, there's no way this blog could have reached 100 posts without you. Even if we did fear being sent to the Gulag if we missed a post.

Sorry this is coming in the morning, by the way, my first draft somehow got deleted. So I have to rewrite all this in order to claim the 100th post. Gurp.

For this blog, I'm not going to get sentimental. I'll save that for the end of the year. It seems like it's been years since the beginning of the school year and ages since JT posted photoshopped nude pics of Hermione on Jon's bulletin board and I basically never spoke to Tandra. The year may be winding down, but WE HAVE A WHOLE MONTH LEFT. Let's enjoy it to the fullest. This weekend sucked for me, but I can guarantee you that I will try my best to make my final weekends epic.

Here is a pic, to avoid tl;dr:

I'm about to live it up these last few weeks. Please join me.
