(Today's blog entry is brought to you live from the basement of Leavey Library. Curse my inability to focus over this entire weekend...)
If memory serves me right (and I do believe it does), since the opening of the BK4 Blog, four months have passed.
During these past four months, members of BK4 have pooled together their thoughts, experiences, pictures, and videos in a number of entries. And recently--in fact, just this morning, the number of blog posts finally reached 100.
Now, in this fourth month, Chairman Steve has come to a decision: that he will no longer enforce daily postings from the Defenders of the Floor.
This saddens me, as I am one of the newest Floor Defenders--the Chairman was gracious enough to grant me a position in his stable of bloggers just several weeks ago, and I do believe I am one of the few left that still has a perfect record with daily blogs. (Of course, saying I have a perfect record is like saying Honorary Iron Chef French Yutaka Ishinabe has the best winning percentage in Kitchen Stadium. Compare that to Honorary Iron Chef Japanese Rokusaburo Michiba, who fought 37 battles and only lost 5. Ishinabe only lost one...out of 8.)
This is not to say, however, that the blog shall die after we leave. I shall continue posting, although now that it is no longer enforced I may post on another day. And even after the end of the year, I will find my way to preserve this scrapbook of floor memories, or at least keep in continual activity...perhaps my whiteboard questions will eventually find their way here.
Now, BK4! Embrace these last few weeks of the year with all the energy you have left and never forget what we have established here!
