Today is the 100 year anniversary of the fateful day that Martin Luther King Jr., a king by choice, not by legacy.......gave his beautiful, sweet life for our sins. As a fundamentalist member of the Lutheran church, it is my duty slash obligation to inform you, the people of the world why this day continues to live on among the blood spattered pages of children's history books as a day of salvation for all of mankind. Instead of rambling on about Martin Luther Khrist Jr. ....I found these inspirational and contemplative videos regarding his significance in the modern world, that basically sum up the message I am trying to convey.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, its KEVIN'S twentieth birthday! His teenage years, plagued by awkward pretend relationships with girls, are no more. So congrats on that Kev.

I know Hurricane Katrina 2.0 that's raging outside kinda dampened the mood :(. And, as a staunch follower of sex magick, neotantra, voodoo, and paranormal activity (the movie not in general), I also know that this weather is CLEARLY an ominous sign from Mt. Olympus. Bringing in the third decade of your life in the midst of the worst rainstorm in the history of Southern California? sorry man, you've been cursed! Watch Drag Me to Hell for further instructions on how to deal with this situation....BUT in spite of all of that, Happy Birthday. At least you didn't have school on today :) Which seamlessly brings me back to the beginning of this blog.....thank you MLK.
