Whoops, Ain't No Pictures Up In Here
As most of you noticed, a bunch of us have been filming and editing a music video. I'm proud to announce that it's ALMOST done! (well the super low quality version at least) I just have to make some last minute changes/get carried away with effects (all four that windows movie maker has). Maybe also credits. And a still of Jon, since he's "never been in a youtube video ever" and we could change that. What do you think? Do we owe it to the world?
Did anybody else notice how crazy close we are to 100 posts?!? AWESOME!
I hope you all liked meeting my Wisco friends this weekend and mocking our accents :D and dancing endlessly for them. They loved USC. I don't know if it's possible to show that we're the best floor on campus without a comparison, but they definitely loved us more than their dorms at madison.
Ugh, right now I'm sitting here waiting for the writing140 guy to start speaking... LAAAAAME. Why do i have to have such an annoying conscience? Stupid. My writing140 teacher basically told us we shouldn't go. I just can't kill my inner over-achiever (disney movie plot where I eventually learn that I can't really live without it?). But there's so many other people... are they all guilty feeling like me?
I realize that I like the very-specific-blog joke, like LESBIANS THAT LOOK LIKE JUSTIN BIEBER and MICHAEL BUBLE BEING STALKED BY A VELOCIRAPTOR and I think next week I will make my post something like that. Hello photoshop. Goodbye pretending that I only write in this blog ironically.
Sign up for freaking Relay For Life. Just go to "Sign-Up" and then practice those basic reading skills that make pokemon more enjoyable. We're 'Krant Touch This (I wonder who came up with that AWESOME name?).
That's all for now. I'll post the video to facebook. anybody have a youtube account to upload with? Are we gonna get hit with a copyright lawsuit?
Pussy Whipped (88)
Anyway, THE Best Show Ever Award goes to: 1000 Ways to Die.
Thank you, Spike TV for being completely classless and insensitive to death.
Everyone loves/hates (but who doesn't love/hate everything to some extent?) those shows/situations where you can't help awkwardly laughing while sincerely wishing you could stop laughing completely or just stop watching because it's just Sooooo wrong and not funny...
Best things about this show:
1. Terrible reenactments that mercilessly mock death and consciously try to make these people look like dumbass bitches who deserve to die
2. Titles for each mini-episode that try way to hard to be witty that therefore aren't funny at all which then makes them funny
-- Ex: Washed and Fried, Micro-Whacked, Blend-Dead,Shanks for the Memories
3. There's 1000. I've only seen like 10. Enough to last a lifetime.
One of the more fitting episodes:
Episode 88. "Pussy Whipped"
Moral of the story: BE A FELINE LOVER OR DIE.
I feel dirty for writing this.

The New Kid on the Block
GIGGIN
Before tonight, I had gotten a little bored with the genre. Stopped listening in favor of other hip-hop and assorted electronica. And Pavement too. Pavement RULES.
But anyway, tonight I went to see Andre Nickatina in concert with Malia and her friend from Hawaii. It revived my interest in the genre and ended up being the BEST NIGHT EVER.
After a few shitty to decent openers, they finally announced Nickatina was coming out. The set started with a short DJ set of hyphy slaps (slaps means rap songs to non-Bay Areans). It was awesome, and got me excited because it was the first time I had heard hyphy from proper speakers since my Senior Ball. Yeah, that's right, people actually gigged and pulled thizz faces at my school prom. This shit is REAL.
+ = Northgate Prom
Anyway, Nickatina finally came out and everyone lost their shit. It was an awesome show. Fat beats, Oakland A's hats everywhere, repping the Bay and LA, chants of "Mac Dre" and "Get Money," B-Luv pulling thizz faces and throwing up the "T," high-fiving Nickatina from the crowd, random girls dancing/making out with me (lewlz), and Nickatina telling the crowd to "throw up our playboys", which ended up being exactly the same as the fight on sign. USC!
So it basically was amazing. Then we proceeded to walk outside the club to wait for our cab, and I MET MISTAH F.A.B.!
For almost all of you, this will mean nothing. Mistah F.A.B. is a hyphy rapper from Oakland who has written such gems as, "Yellow Bus" and "Ghost Ride It". Definitely one of my favorite rappers, so you can imagine how stoked I was to shake his hand and talk to him. Not many people outside the club recognized him (ignorant LA folk!) but a group of other guys and I got to meet him. It was sick as hell. Then as we got into a taxi, there was a fight between drunk guys over another taxi. Then our cab driver proceeded to ask us, "You guys like music?" and blasted 2Pac.
If I had to sum up my night in one word, it would be this one:
PEAK.

A Little Trip Through Time
What we found is both wonderful and disturbing
Earliest one we could find is the 1993-1994 group, which predates facebook and is therefore basically like cave paintings. Obviously 93-94 was a dark, dark time in BK4 history. This is the group's description:
- A group for all of those who suffered through a year in the dumpiest dorm at USC with a Resident Advisor who quit because he had emotional breakdown because his GPA dropped to a 3.98 and blamed us for keeping him up all night... LOL!
More recently, the groups have become more and more like us.
The '03 group is apparently still getting together (or was until very recently) - look at their news. Unfortunately they also foolishly claim to be the coolest people ever to live on BK4. And 2006-2007 started the concept of Honorary 4th floor members and has a short discussion about getting shirts.
Obviously, we've taken our past and built on it, to the epic climax that is BK4 2009-2010, and after this they should just close down the floor and make it into an exhibit about us, with little ropes in front of our open doors to keep little kids from going in and touching the displays and plaques everywhere.
We also found this group for all current residents and alumni, and asks "have you ever put a hole in the wall?" The discussions are interesting, it's full of people who think they still run this floor. Fools. I don't think anybody has joined in awhile. Should we join? Actually, if anybody joins any of the groups and finds out interesting hidden stuff, let us know!
Well that's all for BK4 history. Here's some history from Wisconsin (explains what a bubbler is).
Finally, let's review some of my personal blogging history through my facebook notes of yore
A deep and insightful pokeblog
A deep and insightful Harry Potter Analysis
Powerpoint about procrastination I made for my note celebrating my discovery of google docs and finally something Fun and Random

4- Alex Steve
Sorry Anthony, but if you ever bike in the road while I'm behind you, you will die a painful death.
Alex and I spent at least an hour on an already frustratingly curvy (but beautiful) road, and then these frickin' bikers think they're soooo special so they just ride right in the middle (two up, spread out, you name it!), and no, we can't pass them, because we'll get blind sided either by more bikers or a frickin truck coming around the corner. Bastards.
Funny (unrelated) story: When i tried to "view full size image" on google search, I got this ridiculous guilt trip:
Thank you very much, stupid website, but I think there are bigger fish to fry then me posting a picture of your stupid little vacation picture, and good luck taking down google, since it's the one breaking the law. I will use my magical print screen button and photoshop vanquish your moral lessons and quibbles about fair use. Huzzah Interwebz!
Anyway...
We finally got to the city and it was awesome. We went shopping at Union Square per Tiffany's recommendation (though she also recommended biking across the bridge... so she was pretty hit or miss) and I spent the entire time at Borders and got 1984 and Ender's Game (Nerdgasm). Is anybody else surprised that Levi's has an entire store? I was pretty sure they just made jeans. But it turns out they actually make EVERYTHING, they just make it out of Jeans...
Anyway...
We ate at the Cheesecake Factory (first time I'd ever been there) and it was just like eating at EVK with all the pigeons
I got two slices of cheesecake because I couldn't help myself (Banana Cream and Caramel Apple) but I only ate ONE of them there... and had the other for breakfast this morning... bad idea.
Then we went to the wharf/pier 39, went in two magnet stores, and watched a magic show. That was one sketchy magic show and Alex wanted to sneak away without donating even though I thought the volunteer chick was SEXY!
Then we went to my uncles, slept, and came home. I am now a fan of "In My Head" by Chris Brown after hearing it thousands of times, and Alex needs to get his car fixed before it tries to kill again (going 80 with no brakes or power = hella exciting).
Pheep's Platitudinous Spring Break
Hey guys, so right now I’m sitting in the airplane and I’m bored so I thought I’d write my first bk4 blog. So I know that no one cares, but I will bore you anyway with my very mediocre spring break. Last Friday night I arrived in H-town (Houston,TX for those who don’t know(I posted a map above in case you still don't know)), called my parents, and found out that they were stuck in terrible traffic and wouldn’t be there for 30 min to an hour. Well as always, they underestimated and got there 2 hours later. I was at the smaller airport in Houston, so there was absolutely nothing to do. I was hungry but there were no restaurants so I found a vending machine and bought a salami stick, and to my great pleasure got two for the price of one. As everyone knows, two sticks of meat is always better than one. (I never ate the other one and still have it from a week ago, if anyone is interested). So then I sat next to this hot girl at the café, planning to strike up a conversation so I could woo her with my awesomeness. As it turns out she was 24 and was waiting for her boyfriend to pick her up, so it didn’t work out as I planned. K well, I don’t want to bore you talking way to much in depth about what I did each day so ill just give one or two sentences for each day.
Sat: Went to the citizen cope concert. And the opening band was Gin…she actually really good, heres the link to check it out.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cGdIpcj0HJo Citizen cope was good, but a lot of their stuff sounds similar so, it got a little boring towards the end and we were standing, so it was a little tiring. My dad did by me a beer though, but I mean what can one beer do to improve a night out with your parents lol. One funny thing from the evening though was when they got freaked out by all the people smoking pot, and were like “this is ridiculous where are the cops”
Sun: watched alice and wonderland in IMAX 3D. Didn’t think it was that good.
Mon: Went shopping, bought some jeans. Yes, I know very interesting. Oh and I had this huge argument with my mom, cause she was upset that I didn’t tell her I was taking salsa lessons, and that I also didn’t tell her when I was rushing earlier this year, and that she felt that I’m hiding stuff from her, and that I didn’t want her to be part of my life, She brought out all the water works and everything….it was pretty ridiculous….Anyway, also played a round of golf, beasted it up as always. Oh and drew and Anthony, I was too lazy to bring my golf clubs J, so I can’t do my range prize. Ill make it up to you guys another way though
Tues: Went to the Houston Museum of Natural Science, with my friend, and my mom came along lol. However it was very useful having my mom there cause she’s a docent there so she got us into everything for free. They had an exhibition there on magic. Was somewhat interesting, they had a magic/salsa show at the end though that was quite entertaining. This is how the guy was dressed(the one on the right, I was thinking we could get one for all the guys that says BK44life)
Wed: I had an interview for a job with an engineering company in Houston. My parents freaked out cause I didn’t have dark pants, but I thought I looked good. I mean its hard for me not to. It went okay, I was kind of nervous so I didn’t talk much. Hopefully I’ll get it though
Thurs:Played golf at tour 18, an awesome course where each hole is modeled after a hole from a famous course somewhere else in the US.
Fri: My mom was upset cause my dad ‘stole’ me the day before and she didn’t get to spend enough time with me, even though I was with them the whole week. So, we ended up going to the museum again lol. This time we saw an IMAX called Hubble 3D, it was actually pretty good, and the 3d effects of the stars coming flying past you was really cool. Then we saw the salsa/magic show again lol, it was exactly the same as the time before.
Sat: Did physics hw all day, tons of fun. And my parents freaked out cause I left a nice sweater at my friends house, so they went to pick it up themselves 30 min away lol…And then that night I cooked an awesome pasta dish for my parents, yes I know Im such a good son.
One more story before I go. About an hour ago I was having a breakfast taco waiting for my flight to board. And this couple next me started talking to me. The woman asked me if I was a played tennis for a college(cause my tennis racquet was sticking out of my bag). And when I said no, she was like oh well you look like you would be very good.(That’s right Steve!). So anyway she continues asking me where I was going and stuff and then said that they had come to Houston to open up a new branch of their company. I politely asked what their company did, she responds saying, “have you heard about holographic energy chips.” “No”, I reply thinking that this could be interesting. “ Their special chips that you stick to your skin at different parts of your body, that balance out your electromagnetic pulses, and can improve your immune system, help you with any physical soreness or pain, and even improve your memory.””Oh shit I think, what did I get myself into.” “They end up talking to me for like 30 min, cause I’m too nice to say, “You guys are freaking lunatics and walk away.” And they offered to give me some chips for free lol, so I’m like “its okay I think I can do without the holographic energy chips”. Another product they had was a special sticker that stopped radioactive waves in your cell phone. So she shows it to me and its just a fucking sticker stuck on the back of her phone…..Here's the link if you guys are interested http://www.cieaura.com/
Anyway ya, that was my spring break.
