1 - Alex, Steve

Ok, so I made the vlog posting a little bit complicated, whatever, doesn't matter, as long as your name is somewhere in it or we can obviously tell it's you. See how flexible and nice the blog nazi can be? I love the posts so far

Anyway, onto my first vlog entry, which I wrote a few days ago but haven't had internet to upload it.

After an eventful morning of somebody surprising nobody by oversleeping, but then locking myself out of my room and making us later than we would have been anyway, Alex and I finally
hit the road at 7AM. We escaped LA at record speed (turns out the roads aren't that crowded for some reason at 7AM on a Saturday. Weird. The next eight hours were a blur of
classic 90's music, the latest dance hits of Ke$ha and Gaga, and a little bit of everything else.

Then, halfway to Reno, Alex's GPS, nello, went demonic. Oh. My. God. It just started screaming non-words in some sort of devil-language and it wouldn't turn off or get quieter.
Scarier than a USC squirrel.

The other thing I thought was especially exciting about the trip were the stretches of highway where signs ominously warned that the speed limit was enforced by aircraft.
Seriously? What are they gonna do? Gun us down? Well, we didn't see any aircraft.

The other sign I really like was this one.
I know it's not special, but I like it no matter where I am.

We finally got to Reno, the biggest little city in the world, and it was awesome. I met Alex's family, his dog, his cat, ate dinner, etc. Then we went to his friend Joey's house
, got donuts, and then got p0wn'd like n00bs in COD. Then I slept. Slept like I meant it.

This morning we played a little v-ball, got a little legit mexican food, and then hit up the mall. First we went to PacSun (where I'm pretty sure I'm not allowed to buy anything), then I found the gamestop and all was right with the world.
I amused myself there in my normal fashion (looking at every game for Wii and reading through game guides for games I don't necessarily own, and annoying the employees by leaving
without buying anything at all after like an hour of browsing). Hey, at least I don't ask questions. Hell, sometimes I even answer questions. I apparently radiate nerdiness
enough for mom's to come ask me questions. I should get paid. You know what game I really want? Pokemon heart gold (tandra, can I borrow?). But I'd have to get a DS. I also want a DS, even if only Golden Sun DS! AH! JJ, please appreciate what I'm talking about. I can't even look to Drew for this nerdy overlap.

Anyway, then I went to American Eagle, the mothership for my "college classic" style, but I didn't buy anything. I'm too cheap to buy clothes. Well, I do buy clothes, but usually at
Kohls 99% off sales.
